Senegal: July 7, 2021(TDI): Today, President of the Republic of Senegal Mr. Macky Sall, and Chinese Ambassador Xiao Han laid the foundation stone for Senegal’s Diamniadio industrial park phase (II) undertaken by China.
The first phase of this same Diamniadio International Industrial Platform was inaugurated and proceeded on 22 November 2018 on the same site.
President Macky Sall said that the Diamniadio Platform has taken shape and developed. It will attract 12 companies active in almost twenty fields including clothing, electronics, digital, food, and pharmaceutical.
The China-financed project will create more than 4000 jobs and generate significant economic benefits and facilitate the Emerging Senegal Plan.
