Islamabad, 23 October 2023 (TDI): Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Pakistan’s Chairman Senate, has received a special invitation to attend the International Symposium in Beijing, China, as the Chief Guest, on October 22.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has been invited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

This invitation is for him to attend the International Symposium commemorating the 10th anniversary of China’s Principle of Amity, Sincerity, Mutual Benefit, and Inclusiveness in Neighborhood Diplomacy proposed by President Xi Jinping.

The event, that will be held on October 24, 2023, at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, will feature Chairman Senate as a distinguished Chief Guest.

Chairman Senate will grace the opening ceremony and address the gathering, contributing to the discourse on strengthening diplomatic ties among neighboring nations.

The presence of the Senate Chairman at this Symposium is anticipated to enhance the bonds of friendship, mutual trust, and mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and China.

In addition to his participation in the Symposium, Chairman Senate will meet his counterpart in China, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.

Furthermore, during this visit, Chairman Senate will engage in meetings with the heads of various Chinese state-owned companies, including those in the mining sector.

Additionally, he will hold discussions with officials from China Aid, fostering closer ties and exploring avenues for collaboration and cooperation.

At the Symposium’s opening ceremony, Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, and a member of the CPC Central Committee’s Political Bureau will all be speaking.

Prominent experts, professors, chiefs of international and regional organizations, diplomatic envoys of neighboring nations to China, and political personalities from neighboring countries will attend the Symposium either online or in person.
