Islamabad, 4 August 2021 (TDI): The High Commissioner of Canada to Pakistan, Wendy Gilmour applauded the phenomenal fast-paced execution of the administration of COVID-19 vaccines, by the National Command and Operation Centre, Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, and National Disaster Management Authority, Government of Pakistan.
Pakistan administered 1.07 million COVID-19 vaccine doses on August 2, 2021, as announced by the Director-General of Health, Dr. Rana Muhammad Safdar. If this pace is kept up, Pakistan can return to normalcy by the end of this year, shared.
