South Africa to participate in IBSA coffee festival


South Africa, 4 August 2021 (TDI): South Africa is participating in the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Coffee Festival this week from 4-5 August 2021. The government of India (GoI) has planned to convene the 6th IBSA Festival virtually under the theme of Democracy for Demography and Development as India is the current IBSA chair. This Trilateral Cooperation Forum will help to bring South Africa, India, and Brazil together. Sibusiso Ndebele, High Commissioner of South Africa, delivered remarks to India during the event. The virtual Coffee Festival will deliberate on sustainable coffee production, the importance of Framers, global trade, quality value addition, B2B meeting for exchanging information on coffee trade, and last but not least virtual Coffee plantation tour and small scale virtual coffee exhibition on these two days.
