Minsk, 8 December 2022 (TDI): Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus, Yury Ambrazevich met with UNICEF Deputy Executive Director Karin Hulshof. The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is an agency of the United Nations (UN) for providing development and humanitarian aid to children across the world.

The Deputy Foreign Minister, Yury Ambrazevich, in the conversation, discussed the ways to further technical development assistance funds to Belarus in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 

He added that the need to achieve these goals is paramount and will benefit his country even more. But these actions can’t be carried out by an individual or one agency unless we partner just as the last goal states.

 

The assistance from UNICEF will go a long way to hold service in all the technical aspects of achieving these goals, stating that their contribution to promoting child education and the venerable in the society will promote development in their country.

 

Also, he talked about the need to promote a realization of the rights of every child in the country. Emphasizing that, his country is committed in all these areas. The sustainable development goal set by the United Nations (UN) is to ensure that every country achieves its target by 2030. These goals seek to eliminate poverty and global challenges in the world.

Karin Hulshof, the Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF in response assured the people of Belarus of their intentions to help them achieve some aspects of these goals. The need for children’s education has been the priority for UNICEF.

UNICEF has a broad base in more than 190 countries across the globe to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents. They seek to protect these children’s rights and set a better future for them through their programs.

 

They have assisted many countries and more so the less developed countries. Giving them the needed funds and materials for the educational development of the children. They again have been at the forefront of the quality education campaign for the UN.
