Manama, 21 August 2021 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain delivered a statement on Friday affirming its commitment to keenly observing the events in Afghanistan.
In the statement, the Ministry exhibited its wish to see all parties deliberate on bringing internal stability in Afghanistan while simultaneously protecting its citizens and ensuring the rule of law.
For ameliorating the situation, the Ministry stated that the Kingdom contributes by providing humanitarian relief efforts. It also participates in the evacuation efforts by transferring evacuees from Afghanistan on their way to third countries.
Lastly, the Ministry confirmed that Bahrain is a “committed partner” in the international community and it accords huge significance to human solidarity.
