New York, 24 September 2021(TDI): The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov meets officials of various countries. These meetings took place on the eve of the 76th Session of UNGA.
Jeyhun met with the Officials from Poland. Both sides discussed the bilateral agenda, strategic partnership issues, and cooperation of Azerbaijan with the European Union. Both sides also discussed the post-conflict regional security situation.
Foreign Minister met with Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić. They discuss the cooperation of Azerbaijan with the Council of Europe. Both leaders also discussed the regional security situation.
The Minister also had a fruitful and friendly meeting with Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto. They discussed bilateral strategic ties, regional security issues, reconstruction works in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. They also signed an Agreement on Archival Cooperation between Baku and Budapest.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Ann Linde who is also chairperson in the office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe met Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister. They discuss regional security situations, including the post-conflict reconstruction process and bilateral cooperation agenda between Baku and Stockholm.
The officials from Madagascar, Nicaragua and Cabo Verde also had a meeting with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister. They discussed the priorities of Azerbaijani Chairmanship to the Non-Aligned Movement. They discuss cooperation within international organizations, furthering bilateral relations, and regional developments.
Furthermore, Jeyhun met with the Foreign Minister of Finland, Pekka Haavisto. They exchanged views on bilateral cooperation. They discussed regional & international security issues of mutual interest.
