Baku, 23 October 2021 (TDI): Director of the Badamly Mineral Water Plant, Gahramanov mentioned that Azerbaijan plans to increase its water export capacity.
According to Gahramanov, Badamly locally produced mineral water will be exported to Europe. The licensing process is currently underway.
Azerbaijan had already entered the markets of Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
Recently, it has exported products to Canada. At present, Azerbaijan’s mineral water is mainly exported to China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Iraq, and the UAE. Now the Baku has shifted its priority in the Chinese and Russian markets. Moreover, European markets will give a prominent boost to water industry of Azerbaijan.
The Director noted that Badamly’s share in the Russian market is growing every year.
He mentioned that the Badamly products were presented there until the end of the 1980s, it is a fairly well-known brand. He stated that the Badamly Mineral Water Plant produces 150 million bottles of mineral water a year. The Badamly mineral water has been produced since 1947. Currently, the plant has around-the-clock production.
