Baku, 5 November 2021 (TDI): The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of Azerbaijan has signed a memorandum with Pakistan. The memorandum was signed with the Federation of Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industry. They held a virtual meeting.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov along with the Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee,  attended this meeting. Moreover, President of the Azerbaijani Confederation, Mammad Musayev Qurban, Vice President of the Pakistan Federation, Mian Nasir Khan, and entrepreneurs from both countries also attended the meeting.

The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations in Azerbaijan was established on March 5, 1999. The Confederation was later registered on April 9, 1999. The Confederation comprises more than 6,000 entrepreneurial entities, including about 70 economic and social associations and unions. The Confederation serves as a public association of employers. It works voluntarily to protect legal and economic interests.

This Confederation will protect the legitimate interests of entrepreneurship entities. It helps to strengthen market infrastructure and to promote entrepreneurship. Moreover, it will Promote the creation and development of social and economic-oriented organizations.

The Memorandum will serve as a bridge between the businessmen of both countries. The memorandum covers issues of supporting the development of economic ties between countries, choosing areas for joint activities, identifying projects, and other issues.
