Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that the armed forces have given a strong, coordinated and powerful response to the Indian aggression and avenged the blood of innocent people.
He made the remarks during his telephonic conversation with Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) head Khalid Hussain Magsi, MQM Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
The Prime Minister took the political leaders into confidence regarding the ongoing tense situation and Pakistan’s retaliatory response to India.
He stated India carried out missile and drone attacks on Pakistan. Despite these aggressive actions, Islamabad exercised utmost restraint. But India again launched missile attacks on early Saturday at Nur Khan Airbase and other locations.
He further said that the Indian attacks targeted innocent and unarmed civilians. “Our brave Armed Forces gave a strong response to these repeated aggressions by India.”

In the retaliatory action, Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, Pakistan specifically engaged those military installations in India from where the attacks on Pakistan were launched.
The Prime Minister congratulated the political leadership and the whole nation on the successful Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.
He said that Pakistan is determined to thwart New Delhi’s nefarious attempts to harm our national sovereignty.
The political leadership paid tribute to the courage, bravery and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces.
