Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, and briefed him about the Indian aggression and effective response being given by Pakistan in the form of “Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar also attended the meeting, Radio Pakistan reported.
President Zardari praised the outstanding professionalism and courage of the Pakistan Armed Forces for delivering a strong and effective response to India’s unprovoked aggression and missile strikes.
He emphasized that Pakistan being a responsible and peace-loving country, had shown significant restraint despite repeated provocations from India.
However, he expressed regret that India’s continued hostility had compelled Pakistan to take firm action to defend its  sovereignty and safeguard its citizens.

The President stressed that the whole nation stands united and determinedly supports its Armed Forces in the face of Indian provocations.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to defend its  sovereignty and territorial integrity under all circumstances.
