Islamabad, 11 August 2021 (TDI): On Wednesday, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong met senator Faisal Javed Khan and Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Afridi.
In the meeting, both sides exchanged their opinions on important issues including bilateral relations between China and Pakistan, climate change, cooperation on media initiatives, and agriculture.
Ambassador Nong tweeted about his meetup with the senators and mentioned that he had a good time with the senators and reaffirmed his commitment for the promotion of practical cooperation between the two states that will result in more benefits to the people of both sides.
Senator Faisal Javed also tweeted about the meeting and mentioned that it was his pleasure meeting the ambassador. He also praised the China Research and Training Institute of National Radio and Tv administration for arranging a seminar along with the Pakistan Senate dedicated to educate the young media personnel of Pakistan.
