Kyiv, 3 January 2023 (TDI): The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has reached out to the President of the European Union (EU), Ursula von der Leyen, for the continuous support and help to his country. 

He stated that the country was waiting for the first batch of micro-fin aid as it is set to be brought to the country this month. The President of the EU had earlier applauded Ukrainians for their work to defend the little power they have.

The support includes school buses, generators, and modular houses. These things are set to be able to promote the general well-being of the people of Ukraine.

The light-up campaign, which most of the countries supporting Ukraine to come out of this crisis was also undertaken by the EU and all its bodies. 

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy added that there is a coordinating step under the Ukraine-EU Summit this year. All these agendas will help them to stay stronger together and win together.

It is pertinent to note that Ukraine as a member of the EU is something wealthy for them in these times. The President’s visit to the US recently was assured of support to be able to move the economy forward.

Ukraine and Russia have been at war for close to a year now, and there seems to be no way out of the issues at hand.

The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has consistently held on to his decision even as many diplomats and international observers have called for peace to rain.  

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also expressed his joy for all this support that has come so far and has ensured everybody that this support will be used for their intended purposes.

The country’s energy sector has been severely affected due to the destruction of various power stations. They have continued to ask for support for generators in other for them to assess the lighting system of the country.
