Youm-e-Istehasal observed in Pak embassy China

Beijing, 10 August 2021 (TDI): The Pakistan embassy China observed the 2nd anniversary of Illegal Indian actions in Kashmir i.e. Youm-e- Isthehasal. On Monday the embassy tweeted about the commencement of the day at the embassy.

The event featured speeches from the Ambassador, President, and PM of Pakistan. A photo exhibition and video streaming were also part of the event. The Ambassador of Pakistan to China Moin-ul-Haque and Deputy Head of Mission Ahmed Farooq along with other senior diplomats and citizens attended the event.

The exhibition included paintings and pictures of the Kashmiri people which portrayed the sufferings of the  IIOJK(Occupied Jammu and Kashmir) people. The video showed the current status of IIOJK and also depicted the humiliation of basic human rights by the Indian side.

Ahmed Farooq read the speeches from PM Khan and President Alvi on the occasion. Ambassador Moin addressed the occasion and urged the Indian side to comply with the decisions the international community has made for the resolution of the issue. Haque also expressed his sympathy to the people of IIOJK for how they are victimized and denied basic human rights. During his speech, Haque also underlined the strong commitment of Pakistan and its government to resolve the issue in the light of UNSC resolutions.

China, being the host state for the event, over time has stood firm with Pakistan for its stance on the Kashmir issue and has openly called out the illegal activities of India in IIOJK.
