Beijing (TDI): President Xi Jinping has emphasized the need to modernize and strengthen the Chinese military’s information support force, urging it to achieve significant advancements in its network information system.
During an inspection of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Information Support Force, Xi, also the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, highlighted the critical role of advanced network systems in modern warfare.
The Information Support Force, established earlier this year as part of China’s military reforms, received its flag in April during an official ceremony attended by Xi.
Addressing military personnel, Xi called for accelerated efforts to enhance the force’s capabilities, ensuring it is well-equipped to support the PLA’s combat readiness.
