Today everyone is celebrating this day in the middle of a pandemic and appreciating the resilience, and creativity of youth throughout the crisis. An event will take place which will involve an interactive panel to discuss skills that are required today and will be needed in the future. There are certain objectives of World Youth Skills Day which highlight the importance of assessing the condition of young people regarding work during the Covid-19 pandemic. The idea is to highlight success stories of youth who managed to succeed during these testing times. Also, to debate on the skill development of workers as the economy recovers. Most importantly to check if technical and vocational education training stakeholders can help with the skill development of workers and help in the need for short-term economic recovery.
