WHO representative in Pakistan Dr. Palitha Mahipala and Faisal Sultan Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on NHSR&C collectively launched the “Wear a Mask-Protect Pakistan “campaign.
Dr. Palitha Mahipala, WHO Representative in Pakistan, graced the launch event. Addressing the launch event, Dr. Palitha Mahipala remarked on the importance of required obedience to SOPs. Strict Observance to SOPs is vital for avoiding the spread of the COVID-19 virus, WHO Representative added.
WHO Pakistan and MoNHSR&C Campaign is an initiative to encourage the community to wear a mask.
The practice and strict adherence are the central instruments to contain the spread of Covid-19 in Pakistan.
