Quetta, 13 September 2021 (TDI): On September-12th, 2021, The WHO representative in Pakistan visited Jaffarabad, Balochistan.
During the Visit, Dr. Palitha Mahipala met Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Parliamentary Secretary of Health for the Government of Balochistan.
Dr. Palitha Mahipala, on the visit handed over the Equipment and Therapeutic tools.
The donated Tools included Rapid Antigen Test kits and IT equipment for International Strategy for Disaster Reduction.
The equipment and tools by World Health Organization will help with the establishment of the Nutrition Stabilization Centre. The center will operate in the District of Jaffarbad, Balochistan.
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Parliamentary Secretary Health for the Government of Balochistan, expressed her acknowledgment for the WHOs unwavering support. Dr. Rubaba Khan expressed thanks to the WHO representative Dr. Palitha Mahipala for the inclusive support for the health system in Balochistan.
