Azerbaijan expresses Condolences to Pakistan


Islamabad, 13 September 2021 (TDI): Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed condolences to Pakistan.

The Foreign Ministry expressed concern over the death of 20 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. They expressed their sympathies to families of those who have died in monsoon rains and mudslides. Furthermore, they wished the affected ones a swift recovery.

The severe rains also wreaked havoc on Abbottabad. It caused a mudslide on the outskirts of town that destroyed at least one house. The tragedy killed five members of the same family. That included three children and injured three others. Disaster Officials report that over 160 people have died in rain-related incidents since the 2021 monsoon began.
