Wang Yi talked with Italian counterpart


Beijing:22, June 2021-(TDI):   Foreign Minister and State Councilor of China Wang Yi have a phone call with Luigi Di Maio, Italian Foreign Minister. Both the foreign ministers talked to enhance the one belt one road cooperation. Wang Yi expressed his views about the Italy-China friendship that China is very grateful for Italy’s friendly policy towards China. He further said that China is willing to cooperate with Italy to built strategic communication, bilateral relations and to participate in world peace. China welcomes the Italian companies in the state to do trade and investment and china hopes that Italy will provide a perfect friendly environment to Chinese companies for investment.

The Chinese Foreign Minister also talks about the changing world adjustment and said that the states should need to do cooperate with each other instead of doing backfires and respect each other for global peace. Trade between Italy and China has increased by 50 percent, while Italy’s export towards China has increased by 75 percent. The Italian minister in response to the Chinese Minister said that the Italy-china relations are just like friends. He talks about pushing the cultural exchange between both states by taking the opportunity of  2022 Italy -China year of culture and tourism. Italy is ready to develop relations with China under a multilateral framework to enhance cooperation. Both the ministers also talked about the upcoming  47th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
