Islamabad, 29 December 2021 (TDI): The United States Department of International Development (USAID) and the Government of Pakistan have collaborated on a project to attain clean energy.
In that sense, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and other local partners of the Pakistan energy sector have also joined hands on the mission.
Also, the goal of this project is to increase investment in the private sector for clean energy. This will help in supporting energy activities either small or medium. Moreover, the production of clean energy would help resolve a lot of problems for the government of Pakistan.
Recycling has always been really productive and helpful in achieving bigger goals with little effort. Hence, the production of clean energy would bring a decrease in the emission of greenhouse gases. It would bring a decrease in air pollution.

Furthermore, the production of clean energy would decrease the import of fuels and petroleum from abroad thus boosting economic development. It would help Pakistan in its fight against poverty and climate change.
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
The UNIDO is an International organization that works to eliminate poverty through sustainable and inclusive development. This organization is helping its member states to achieve their Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) by 2030.
The SDG was adopted by the United Nations back in 2015. The main goals of SDG are to eliminate poverty, protect the environment and make sure all humans are able to enjoy prosperity and peace in the world by 2030.
Recently, the world has been facing a lot of environmental disasters due to climate change, therefore, the utmost important thing right now is to make sure all states take unilateral action against the crisis.
In November, a COP26 meeting was held to discuss the policies and strategies to fight climate change. Many countries became a member of it and they aspire to fight climate change and to achieve a net-zero by 2030.
