Washington, 21 September 2021 (TDI): The U.S Special Representative Zalmay Khalilzad greeted another Qatari flight of evacuees from Afghanistan. The flight was carrying 230 people.
Of the 230 evacuees, about 60-70 were US citizens and permanent residents.
Qatar has become a central partner of the U.S in the region and has helped airlift around 60,000 evacuees to Qatar during the chaotic pull out of the U.S from Afghanistan.
