Kuwait City, 11 February 2023 (TDI): Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, met with General Jacqueline D. Van Ovost, Commander of the Transport Command of the US Armed Forces, to discuss both countries’ close relations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted the most significant historical landmarks observed over the previous six decades of collaboration and partnership in all binding domains.
Their strategic relations include military and joint ambitions for a more secure and prosperous future.

General Jacqueline D. Van Ovost expressed her country’s gratitude to the leadership, government, and people of Kuwait for hosting the US armed troops. She reaffirmed the US’s commitment to Kuwait’s security and safety.
