US Embassy’s Cultural Affairs Officer visited International Islamic University Islamabad

Islamabad, 23 October 2021 (TDI): Cultural Affairs Officer at the United States (US) embassy Islamabad, Farah Chery-Medor, visited Critical Thinking Forum (CTF) at International Islamic University (IIUI). She met with Vice President (A&F), Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani. Both officials exchanged views on prospects of enhancing collaboration between the two sides.

Officer Farah also met the founder of Critical Thinking Forum, Dr. Munaza Yaqoob, who briefed her about the achievements of the forum. Dr. Munaza also apprised her regarding impact and implications of the CTF grand project “Consciousness Raising of Pakistani Women on Contemporary Academic and Social Issues”.

Furthermore, Farah Chery-Medor took a round of CTF seminar room. Additionally, she talked with some young members of CTF.

The university’s protocol and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Al Hassan informed the delegation about the university’s endeavors to promote cultural diversity, harmony, and tolerance among the students. The Vice President thanked Farah for visiting the university and ensured the university’s collaboration in various projects.
