The Deputy Secretary of the United States of America, Wendy R. Sherman met the Deputy Foreign Minister of Oman, Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy on Tuesday.
Sherman and Al Harthy discussed the progressive regional peace and security and their determination to promote the US-Oman bilateral relationship, putting special focus on trade and investment. Deputy Secretary Sherman expressed gratitude to the Deputy Foreign Minister for the meditating role Oman is playing to promote regional peace and to acknowledge the significance of bringing an immediate and thorough ceasefire to end the Yemen war.
