Khartoum, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan met with the United States Charge d’Affairs to Sudan Brain Shukan, the US Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Jeffrey Feltman, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.
The meeting was aimed at the discussion about the democratic transition in Sudan. United States delegation portrayed the ultimate support of the Government of the United States for the peaceful transition in the Republic of Sudan. Along with it, the US envoy hopes that the Republic of Sudan will work for the peace and development of the people of Sudan.
Furthermore, the reforms in the Security sectors were brought into the light, where the Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan guaranteed to take all possible measures for peace and stability in the region. Lastly, discussions were tabled for the implementation of the Juba Peace Agreement for peace and integrity in the region.
