Doha, 8th September 2021 (TDI): US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed US commitment and support to the UN at a meeting with UN Relief Chief Martin Griffiths.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken appreciated the United Nation’s work and decision to ‘stay and deliver’ in Afghanistan at a meeting in Doha. The UN Relief Chief Martin Griffiths informed later that the meeting was constructive and he is glad to have confirmation of US support for humanitarian assistance for Afghan people.
US Secretary of Antony Blinken departed two days back on 6th September for Qatar and Germany.
