Quetta, 14 September 2021 (TDI): UN Women Delegation in Pakistan visits Women Police Station in Quetta this morning. The UN Women Pakistan and the National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) made a joint visit.
Nilofar Bakhtiar, Chairperson of NCSW, and the delegation of UN women deliberated upon the arrangements in the Women Police Station.
The delegation reviewed the progress in the projects under Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) & International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
Chairperson of NCSW and UN Women Pakistan on their visit to the Quetta Women police Station observed the development. They also administered the projects underway with the support of the UN funds.
The Delegation also deliberated upon the future tactics of capacity building needs in the sector. The Chairperson of NCSW and the UN Women also addressed the strategy for women’s development and protection during the brief visit.
