UN High Commissioner Visited Refugee center in Turkey

Gaziantep, 11 September 2021 (TDI): Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees visited the Refugee center in Gaziantep, Turkey. The visit happened on 11th September 2021. The center is organized and Managed by Turkey’s migration management directorate.

Filippo Grandi UN High Commissioner for Refugees and Dr. Savaş Ünlü Director-General of Migration Management of the Turkish Ministry of Interior made the joined visit to the center. The visit supervised the management of the center and ensures the necessary hospitality for the Refugees.

During the Visit UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi also promised to help arrange more donations. A good amount of Donations and consistent donor support will help the Refugees Management Center to work better. Grandi additionally pledged that the donations will help the refugees to achieve a better living standard.

Filippo Grandi on his official Twitter account acknowledged the efforts of the Governor of Gaziantep Mr. Davut GÜL. Furthermore, UN High Commissioner forwarded his gratitude to the Mayor of Gaziantep Fatma Şahin for ensuring the necessary standard of hospitality in the city.
