Kabul, 23 August 2021 (TDI): Mansoor Ahmed Khan, the ambassador of Pakistan to Afghanistan had a telephonic conversion with Ibrahim Hasan Murad, the President of the University of Management & Technology (UMT) Lahore. The significance of education was stressed during the call. Education is considered a key element that can play an important role in Afghan youth.
University of Management & Technology (UMT) Lahore has announced 100 scholarships for Afghan students both boys and girls. Undergraduate and postgraduate students can pursue their degrees without hindrance.
The free education to Afghan students was appreciated. In addition to that, Pakistan would support Afghanistan in the educational field. Pakistan is ready to stand with Afghanistan and continue to cooperate in other sectors as well.
