Juba, 28 September 2021 (TDI): Jonny Baxter, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan, met with Stephen Dhieu Dau, the incumbent Minister of Finance and Economic Development of South Sudan, to table issues related to effective budget allocation and aggrandized financial reforms.
The core purpose of calling this conference was to discuss the importance of effective and sound budget allocation for the betterment of people and the development of the Republic of South Sudan. Along with it, the discussions were also diverted towards bringing and using financial reforms to increase resources.
Lastly, the parties agreed on enhancing resources for the provision of basic services to the ordinary people living in the Republic of South Sudan. The discussions during the conference were termed good and fruitful by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, where discussions were made for the betterment of the people of South Sudan and the economic growth of South Sudan.
