UK to deploy special staff in Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan


London, 02 September 2021 (TDI): The British Foreign Office announced that the UK is sending Special Deployment Teams to three Afghan neighboring countries.

The UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab stated that these special teams will assist the British embassies in Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. They will facilitate the process of the immigrants from Afghanistan and ensure their safe passage. The British government will continue to work with the international community to facilitate the movement of local and foreign nationals who wish to leave Afghanistan, he said.
