UK and Kenya to co-host the Global Education Summit

On Tuesday, President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in London to co-host the Global Education Summit from 28-29 July, aimed at enhancing the quality of education for all children.

Global Education Summit (2021-2025) holds significant importance for the global community to promote and ensure quality education for children. This summit will provide the opportunity for international leaders to make a 5-year plan to support the aim of global partnership for education which is to maintain education in up to 90 countries.

The UK and Kenya partnership builds on security, stability, and sustainable development worldwide. They have been working as partners both in the region and on international forums. The UK is also a critical development partner to Kenya and is its largest foreign investor too.
