Islamabad, 21 July 2022 (TDI): The Ambassador of Turkiye, Mehmet Pacaci called on the Chief of Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu. The meeting was held at the Air Headquarters, Islamabad.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkiye lauded the outstanding performance of the Pakistan Air Force as well as its exemplary professionalism and self-reliance.
Along these lines, Ambassador Mehmet Pacaci went on to praise the PAF’s rising indigenous capacity in the aviation industry.
Whilst, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu on his part enunciated that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy cordial and fraternal ties that are mutually beneficial and stem from deep-rooted principles.
The Air Chief highlighted that both the countries enjoy cordial relations and reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

In addition, the Chief of the PAF reiterated the commitment to boost bilateral collaboration between the Air Force of Pakistan and Turkiye. He also underscored that Pakistan immensely values its ties with Turkiye.
Furthermore, the two sides also discussed various issues pertaining to the mutual interest as well as professional collaboration, during the meeting.
Pakistan and Turkiye have since long maintained strategic and military ties by collaboration through various exercises, exchange of knowledge as well as training.
Turkiye has been one of the major arms sellers to Pakistan, recently. Likewise, Turkiye purchases minor aerial weapons and components from Pakistan.
Aside from that, Pakistan and the Turkish Air Force have also signed a deal for 52 Super Mushak trainer turbo-props from Pakistan for training new pilots.
