Islamabad, 27 August 2021 (TDI): Fawad Chaudhry, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan, stated that Afghanistan has witnessed a lot of bloodshed. The international community must not abandon Afghanistan at any cost. Millions of people gave blood to this soil. We should continue to support Afghanistan to maintain peace and stability in the region, particularly Pakistan.
Pakistan has faced a lot being the neighbor of Afghanistan. He stated that Pakistan will continue to support Afghanistan and play a constructive role to restore peace and stability in the country. The stability in Afghanistan signals stability and peace in Pakistan. Therefore, after the Taliban takeover, we must not abandon Afghanistan. Otherwise, in the future, we all have to pay for the chaotic and apprehensive situation in the region.
