UN is committed to work for Afghan people

-

Kabul, 27 August 2021 (TDI): Around 12 million children in Afghanistan require humanitarian assistance. The international community is concerned for Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover. Many Afghan children are malnourished as a result of the scarcity of food in war-torn areas. Afghans have been subjected to violence for a long time, and their rights must be protected.
It can be observed that UNICEF and UN are working hard to help and support Afghan children and women. There are still many Afghans who require basic amenities such as food, water, sanitation, and life-saving immunization campaigns.
The UN was encouraged to safeguard the protection and safety of Afghans at all costs. There would be no impediment to meeting fundamental necessities. It was informed that the UN is committed to defending each individual’s rights and continues to assist Afghans.
