London/Dhaka, 18 September 2021 (TDI): High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom, Saida Muna Tasneem shared the news of Bangladesh’s removal from the red list of the United Kingdom.
She stated that the removal of Bangladesh from the Red List will come into effect on Wednesday, 22nd September.
Moreover, the travelers from Bangladesh will no longer require a 10-days hotel quarantine after that.
Bangladesh, along with Pakistan has been added to the Amber List. The Amber List is part of the traffic light system for citizens of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
However, soon there will be a simplified system of only red and non-red lists. Amber List will phase out.
