Pak-China commemoration coins to celebrate diplomatic relations

Islamabad, 18 September (TDI):  In remembrance of the 70th anniversary of China and Pakistan as both achieve 70 years of diplomatic ties, the Central Bank of China will supply a set of commemorative coins as a hallmark of the anniversary.

The set will be comprised of silver and gold coins. Both coins feature the country name, year of issuance, and national emblem. The back of the coin is carved with a logo to highlight the 70th anniversary of the China and Pakistan brotherhood. The backside also features the Lahore Castle in Pakistan and the Temple of Heaven of China. The maximum silver and gold coins will be 10,000 and 3,000 respectively. Pakistan’s State Bank also issued a Rs 70 commemorative coin to celebrate the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
