Shenzhen, 18 September 2021(TDI): A conversation was held between Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Carrie Lam and Vice Premier of China Han Zheng on Saturday afternoon in south China’s Guangdong Province named Carrie Lam.
He was optimistic about the SAR government executing the principle of “patriots governing Hong Kong ” and organizing the major elections in accordance with the law. He further said that the central government has full support with SAR in consolidating its position as a global financial hub and developing into an international center for innovation and technology and also urged to deepen its cooperation with the mainland.
For her part, Lam said that the SAR government would actively take part in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and in the construction of Qianhai. She added that the SAR government will organize and manage the elections well.
