Baghdad, 21 October 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Iraq in Beirut, Haider Shia Al-Barrak, met the Lebanese Minister of Defense, Maurice Salim at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense. The meeting covered the issues on the military field between the brotherly countries.
The Lebanese Minister of Defense appreciated the Iraqi government for supporting the entire nation with its hard work and effort. Furthermore, he said that the aid that the Iraqi government has given to the Lebanese people was helpful. The Leaders of the countries discussed the cooperation between Lebanon and Iraq. The subjects covered constant areas like infrastructure, military, political, and economic power. They decided to increase cooperation between the countries.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Iraq in Beirut thanked the Minister of Defense for the warm welcome and wished Lebanon good luck in the future.
