Baku, 5 August 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, spoke via phone with Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the Foreign Minister of Turkey.
Both parties discussed the latest situation with forest fires in Turkey. They also talked about ongoing firefighting and rescue operations in Turkey and also Azerbaijani firefighters’ participation in these operations. Çavuşoğlu praised Azerbaijan for its aid in preventing the further spread of forest fires in Turkey. Jeyhun Bayramov reaffirmed that Azerbaijan has always stood with Turkey and is ready to support Turkey in these tough times as well.
