Pakistani Embassy in Tajikistan observes “Youm-e-Istehsal”

Dushanbe, 5 August 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, the Pakistani Embassy in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, observed the 2nd Anniversary of “Youm-e-Istehsal” in the Chancery. It is observed to mark two years of Indian blockade in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, which was followed by the poetic verses praising the valiant battle of the Kashmiri people and the national anthems of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. During the event, special messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister were read. Imran Haider, Ambassador of Pakistan to Tajikistan, informed the audience about the continuous atrocities committed by the Indian occupying forces. He stated that Indian actions on August 5, 2019, are aimed at changing the demographic structure in IIOJK and violate many UN Security Council Resolutions. He lauded the great sacrifices made by courageous Kashmiris in IIOJK.

The Ambassador also ensured Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Kashmiri people in their rightful struggle for self-determination.
