Baku, 6 June 2023 (TDI): Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jayhun Bayramov, engaged in two significant telephone conversations that further solidified the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
The discussions were held with Hakan Fidan, the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Türkiye, and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, the former Turkish Foreign Minister.
During the conversation with Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister Jayhun Bayramov extended his warm congratulations and well wishes on his new appointment.
Emphasizing the historical, cultural, and strategic connections between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, Minister Bayramov expressed confidence in strengthening bilateral collaboration and forging multilateral alliances based on shared interests and values.
Additionally, Foreign Minister Bayramov invited the Turkish Foreign Minister to visit Azerbaijan. Fidan gladly accepted an invitation to visit Azerbaijan to fortify ties between the two countries further.
In the subsequent call with former Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister Bayramov lauded his commendable efforts in bolstering the bonds of brotherhood and cultivating a high-level alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Expressing his deep appreciation for Çavuşoğlu’s dedication, Minister Bayramov extended his best wishes for his future endeavors.
In turn, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu expressed his gratitude. He also pledged to continue contributing to strengthening the brotherhood and alliance between the two nations.
The conversations between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye underscored the enduring friendship, strategic cooperation, and shared aspirations between the two countries.
