Baku, 1 June 2023 (TDI): Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Asad Majeed Khan is visiting Baku for the 3rd Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
The visit strives to reinforce the two countries’ historical and fraternal connections, as well as to explore opportunities for further cooperation in a variety of sectors.
Pakistan’s Envoy to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee, also joined the meetings and contributed valuable insights to the discussions.
One of the highlights of the visit was a tour of Ichershehr’s old Multani Caravan Siraey, which stipulated as an actual illustration of the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. This visit highlighted the two countries’ profound historical and cultural relations, solidifying the roots of their alliance.
Foreign Secretary Khan participated in an interactive session during the BPC with essential business leaders from various industries. Furthermore, Foreign Secretary Asad Majeed Khan met in depth with Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Elnur Mammadov. The two delegations analyzed every aspect of their relationship and reiterated their enthusiasm for advancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
They decided to boost cultural exchanges, bolster educational relations, and strengthen business and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. This devotion to broadening collaboration across multiple fields exhibits both countries’ desire to enhance and diversify their alliance.
