Islamabad, 27 May 2023 (TDI): On the momentous occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, expressed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of Azerbaijan.
In a warm message to President Ilham Aliyev, President Alvi conveyed the deep-rooted emotions of friendship and solidarity that have blossomed between the two brotherly nations.
President Alvi underlined Pakistan’s commitment to protecting Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. President Alvi noted that Pakistan has consistently supported Azerbaijan during difficult times.
President Alvi also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on commemorating the “Year of Heydar Aliyev,” paying tribute to the remarkable legacy of the National Leader of Azerbaijan.
