New York, 22 September 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide. This meeting took place on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
Both leaders discussed contemporary issues. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in diverse areas particularly economy and education.
The Foreign Minister of Tajikistan also held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg.
They discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Austria. They exchanged views on the contemporary situation of the region and on issues of security. Both sides stressed ways to strengthen relations of Dushanbe-Vienna by mutual cooperation and collaborative projects.
