Islamabad, 10 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday the Board of Investment Pakistan (BOI) arranged a virtual meeting between Pakistan and the Shandong province of China. The meeting underlined promoting investment opportunities along with strong economic and cultural ties between Pakistan and the Shandong province of China.
The meeting was attended by Secretary BOI (Board of Investment) Ms. Fareena Mazhar along with the newly appointed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on CPEC, Khalid Mansoor, and certain senior representatives from the public and private sectors of China.
The session focused on carving opportunities for Pakistan’s diplomatic presence in Shandong along with the discussion on ventures of partnerships and cooperation between the two sides in the sectors of textile, renewable energy, engineering, electric automobiles as well as ports and shipping sectors.
