Speaker NA travelling to Baku for Trilateral Speakers Conference

Islamabad: July 25, 2021-TDI: A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser will leave for Azerbaijan on Monday for a six-day official visit to attend the first tripartite parliamentary conference. The aim of the conference is to improve parliamentary relations between Turkey, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan. During the visit, the delegation will also meet with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Energy.

Chairman Standing Committee on Energy Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that the parliamentary delegation led by Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser will leave for Azerbaijan on Monday for a six-day official visit to attend the first tripartite parliamentary conference. The visit will end on July 31. The delegation will return home from Azerbaijan.

Talking to media in Lahore, Chaudhry Salek Hussain said that the aim of the conference to be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, was to improve relations between Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan at the parliamentary level. To take advantage of During the visit, the delegation will also meet with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and other government officials.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that a 25-member Pakistani delegation would accompany the Speaker National Assembly. Chaudhry Salik further said that the visit would further strengthen the existing fraternal relations between the three countries and bring the people of these countries closer to each other. The situation in the region demands that the three countries work together to meet the challenges.
