Somalian Foreign Secretory met with the New Tanzanian Ambassador

Mogadishu, 1 September 2020(TDI): The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of foreign affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Ambassador Mohamed Ali-Nor received on Tuesday in Mogadishu, met with the new Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. John Stephen Simbachawene. The Tanzanian Ambassador presented his copy of the credentials.

Somalia and Tanzania are neighboring countries in East Africa. Both countries have been enjoying a deep friendship and good cordial relationship since their independence.  Ambassador Mohamed Ali-Nor wished the new  Tanzanian Ambassador success in carrying out his duties and strengthening bilateral relations.

Tanzania’s Ambassador to Somalia, Dr. John Stephen, was overjoyed to present a copy of his credentials as an ambassador to Somalia. He emphasized his country’s desire to consolidate relations in various fields to meet common desires.
