Mogadishu, 21 September 2021 (TDI): Abdullahi Arab, the Somali Minister of Education of the Federal Republic of Somalia, met with Tiina Intelmann, the Ambassador of the European Union to Somalia, and her Deputy Wolf to discuss the development in the education sector.
The Minister of Education of Somalia briefed the Ambassador and her Deputy about the progress and prospect of education in the Federal Republic of Somalia.
Along with it, the Minister also provided a detailed summary about the Somali government’s commitment to the provision of education, the achievements it has made in the last few years with the help of the European Union and discussed the prioritized needs of the state of Somalia for the betterment of education in the country.
Furthermore, the Minister of Education thanked the European Union Ambassador and her team for their unending support for the improvement of education in Somalia. Notably, the meeting ended with an agreement for future projects to provide better education to the people of Somalia.
